2014 Ägypten (Alexandria)
16.3. -20.03.2014 In Alexandria
Our first tournament in Africa. It was fantastic. The Egyptians took great care of us and were downright worried that we would not happen in this city, which was indeed not one of the safest places in the world at that time.
The Library of Alexandria is a great place. The architecture is impressive.
On the coastline there were many empty houses, which were to be renovated fringed. The reason was a rent control, which fixed the rents in the very long term, so that the owners had no interest in a renovation.
The sporting success could not come this time. We played against professionals and younger ex-professionals of the Egyptians, who won the tournament with great cheers, with pyros and Bengalos in the hall, with laser pointers for the opposing goalkeepers – all quite normal in Alexandria.

- By the way, this is how German can be learned. At least in Belarus. Singing in the hotel in Alexandria.
